Puerto de Mogan

This is without a doubt the most popular attraction on the island of Gran Canaria. The Mogan Port features an impressive marina full of luxury yachts and small cruises, as well as of very stylish hotels that provide wonderful views of all the area. Also known as Parque Cocodrilo by the locals, this park is home to several species, among which crocodiles are the most popular. Of all the attractions available at Gran Canaria, Mundo Aborigen (or Aborigine World) is definitely the most educational one. This particular attraction has a series of actors perform as the first residents of the island would have, including even demos of old techniques and explanations about the buildings and homes of the past. Several souvenir shops can be found here as well.
Cenobio de Valeron

This is one of the most important historical attractions of the island of Gran Canaria, featuring some historical remains of the Pre-Hispanic era. As is the case with Mundo Aborigen, here visitors are exposed to the culture that prevailed on the island several centuries ago.
Presa de Chira

The Presa de Chira is the biggest dam in the whole Canarian archipelago, as well as being a natural reservoir, which has made it a somewhat popular attraction among locals and nature lovers.
